Critical Dates & Digital Transition Checklist

There are several dates prior to March 20, 2023 that you need to be aware of. These include dates you need to take action on, as well as early cut-off times and system interruptions. Please review the information below so you are prepared for the transition.

Prior to February 10, 2023:

  • Verify your One-Time Passcode or Secure Access contact information in Online Banking. You will be prompted to receive a one-time security code by SMS text or voice call during your first login to Business Online Banking. Click here for instructions.

Prior to March 17, 2023:

  • Download or print copies of checks and deposit item images you want to keep. 90 days of previous check images associated with your deposit history will transfer to the new system. Previous deposit item images will not transition.
  • Download or print previous statements. 12 months of previous statements will be available in the new system.
  • Download or print transaction history. 90 days of transaction history will transition.
  • Download or print Bill Pay history. Six months of previous Bill Pay history for transitioning payees will be available in the new system.
  • Back up your Quicken/QuickBooks data on Friday, March 17, 2023. Click here for instructions.
  • Add the Treasury Management Support contact information to your phone. 1-833-729-0994 and treasurymanagement@umpquabank.com

Business Online Banking Critical Dates

Ensure you are aware of the following dates and reach out if you have any questions.

February 10, 2023: Dual maintenance starts. Changes made by a system admin in Biz/Commercial Connect prior to February 10, 2023, will also need to be made in Business Online Banking during the Preview Period or post transition.
February 16, 2023: New User IDs emailed, if applicable.
February 21, 2023: New Company IDs emailed.
February 23, 2023: Temporary Passwords emailed.
February 24, 2023: Contact the Transition Support Line at 833-961-3614 if you have not received one or more of your new login credentials.
February 27, 2023: Early access Preview Period begins.
March 16, 2023: Preview Period no longer available. Business Bill Pay becomes unavailable at 2:00 p.m. PT
March 17, 2023: Columbia Connect becomes unavailable at 9:00 p.m. PT.
Biz/Commercial Connect and the CB Business mobile app no longer available as of 10:00 p.m. PT.
Mobile Deposit becomes unavailable at 6:00 p.m. PT.
Positive Pay no longer available starting at 5:00 p.m. PT.
Final ACH batches need to be released by 4:00 p.m. PT
Download your most recent Quicken/QuickBooks activity.
March 20, 2023: Access your accounts through Business Online Banking and download the Umpqua Biz Mobile app. Reconnect your Quicken/QuickBooks Express Web Connect, Web Connect and Online services. Direct Connect users will receive new credentials within 10 business days.
March 21, 2023: Decision check and ACH Positive Pay exceptions in Business Online Banking.


Service Interruptions

The following services will be interrupted during the transition:

Biz Connect, Commercial Connect & Mobile Banking
Friday, 3/17/23 – 10:00 p.m. PT The current system becomes unavailable.
Monday, 3/20/23 – 7:00 a.m. PT Access your accounts online through Business Online Banking and download the Umpqua Biz Mobile app.
Columbia Connect
Friday, 3/17/23 – 9:00 p.m. PT The current system will be limited to view-only mode.
Monday, 3/20/23 – 7:00 a.m. PT Access your accounts online through Business Online Banking and download the Umpqua Biz Mobile app.
ACH Services
Friday, 3/17/23 – 4:00 p.m. PT Final ACH batches must be released. Only ACH items with an effective date of 3/20/23 or prior should be sent using Commercial Connect.
Monday, 3/20/23 – 7:00 a.m. PT Use Business Online Banking for ACH items with an effective date of 3/21/23 or later. The new ACH cutoff time is 5:00 p.m. PT.
Business Bill Pay
Thursday, 3/16/23 – 2:00 p.m. PT The current system becomes unavailable.
Monday, 3/20/23 – 7:00 a.m. PT Begin using Umpqua’s Business Bill Pay. Provide access entitlements for users.
Mobile Deposit
Friday, 3/17/23 – 6:00 p.m. PT Mobile Deposit becomes unavailable. Deposits made and accepted prior to 6:00 p.m. PT will post to your account on 3/17/23.
Monday, 3/20/23 – 7:00 a.m. PT Make mobile deposits using the Umpqua Biz Mobile app.
Positive Pay
Friday, 3/17/23 – 5:00 p.m. PT Positive Pay will no longer be available.
Monday, 3/20/23 – 7:00 a.m. PT Access Positive Pay through Umpqua’s Business Online Banking.
Quicken/QuickBooks
Friday, 3/17-23 – 10:00 p.m. PT All Quicken/QuickBooks services within Biz/Commercial Connect will no longer be available.
Monday, 3/20/23 – 7:00 a.m. PT Reconnect Quicken/QuickBooks Web Connect, Express Web Connect and Online services to Umpqua’s Business Online Banking. Click here for instructions.
