The transition of your Columbia Bank accounts and services to Umpqua Bank is now complete

Account Transition Charts

Your Personal Columbia Bank Accounts are transitioning to those offered by Umpqua Bank on March 20, 2023.

Please review your new account details and talk with a banker if you have questions. Select your current Columbia Bank account below to review your new Umpqua Bank account.

Your current CD and/or IRA terms and rates will continue until maturity. For IRA CDs, additional deposits can continue to be added for the remainder of the current term, however, once it renews, unless it is an 18-month IRA CD, you will not be allowed to add additional deposits. You will receive a notice regarding any changes to your CD or IRA prior to renewal.

Your CDARS terms and rates will remain until maturity.

Account number: A five-digit note number is being added to all loan account numbers. It is important that you include the note number on your payments beginning March 20, 2023. The addition of the note number will be required in order for your payment to be processed. When submitting your payment from an external account, it must contain all 17-digits total in order to be processed. You will receive additional details about the addition of the note number and payment requirements prior to March 20, 2023.

Terms: The terms of your loan or line of credit will remain the same.

Statements: Your loan statement will look different but the information contained in the statement should be similar to what you see today. All customers will receive a loan statement, regardless of the way their loan is paid.

Online History: If you currently view your loan or line of credit in Columbia Connect, you will not see any account history prior to March 17, 2023 in the new system. If you’d like to keep copies of your history, please be sure to print copies no later than March 17, 2023.

Automatic payments: Automatic payments from your deposit account will continue without interruption. If your automatic payment is being made from an external account, it is important that you include your new note number to avoid the payment from being rejected from processing. You must include the entire 17-digit loan account number to ensure your payment is processed. You will receive additional details about this prior to March 17, 2023.

Pay by mail address change: If you pay your loan by mail, please mail your payments to the address below. This will also be found on the remittance section of your loan statement.
