Critical Dates & Digital Transition Checklist

There are several dates prior to March 20, 2023 that you need to be aware of. These include dates you need to take action on, as well as early cut-off times and system interruptions. Please review the information below and so you are prepared for the transition.

Digital Transition Checklist

Prior to March 17, 2023:

  • Verify your secure access contact information in Umpqua Connect. You will be sent a secure access code to your phone or email upon your first login to Umpqua’s Personal Online Banking. View instructions.
  • Note your current User ID and Password You will need to know your current credentials in order to login.
  • Watch your email for first-time login instructions.You should receive these no later than March 8.
  • Print older copies of checks you want to keep You will have 90 days of transaction history after the transition, including check images. Customers who need transaction history or check images older than 90 days should download it prior to March 17, or visit their local branch.
  • Print previous statements if needed.12 months of previous statements will be available online after the transition.
  • Download your QuickBooks/Quicken activity prior to 5:00pm PT on March 17.You will need to reconnect your Quicken/QuickBooks accounts to Umpqua’s Personal Online Banking after March 20, 2023. View instructions.


Critical Dates

March 8, 2023: First-time login instructions will be emailed to you.
Prior to March 17, 2023: Verify your secure access contact information (email and phone number) is up-to-date in Columbia Connect.
March 17, 2023 at 9:00 p.m. PT: Columbia Connect will become limited, with view-only access.
March 20, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. PT: Access your Accounts through Umpqua's Personal Online Banking or the Umpqua Bank Mobile App. You can delete your Columbia app at this time.

Service Interruptions

The following Personal Online Banking systems and services will be interrupted as we approach March 20, 2023. Please ensure you are prepared.

Columbia Connect & Mobile Banking
Friday, 3/17/23 – 9:00 p.m. PT The current system will be placed in view-only mode. You will not be able to conduct transactions.
Monday, 3/20/23 – 8:00 a.m. PT Access your accounts through Umpqua’s Personal Online Banking or the Umpqua Bank Mobile App.
Personal Bill Pay
Thursday, 3/16/23 – 2:00 p.m. PT The current system becomes unavailable.
Monday, 3/20/23 – 8:00 a.m. PT Access Bill Pay through Umpqua’s Personal Online Banking or the Umpqua Bank Mobile App.
Card Pilot
Friday, 3/17/23 – 9:00 p.m. PT Card Pilot will no longer function and the app can be deleted.
Monday, 3/20/23 – 8:00 a.m. PT Card alerts and controls will need to be set up again and managed directly in Umpqua’s Personal Online Banking or the Umpqua Bank Mobile App.
Zelle
Thursday, 3/16/23 – 2:00 p.m. PT You will be un-enrolled from Zelle®, disconnecting your Columbia Bank linked mobile numbers and email addresses
Monday, 3/20/23 – 8:00 a.m. PT You can re-enroll with Zelle®, linking your mobile numbers and email addresses with Umpqua Bank.
Bank2Bank Transfers
Thursday, 3/16/23 – 2:00 p.m. PT Bank2Bank Transfers are no longer available.
Monday, 3/20/23 – 8:00 a.m. PT You will need to setup any previous External Transfers, including re-linking your accounts with Umpqua Bank.
CardSwap
Thursday, 3/16/23 – 2:00 p.m. PT CardSwap is no longer available for use.
